Zamaretto League Premier Division New Windmill Ground, Harbury Lane Saturday 20th February 2010 Leamington 2 v Farnborough 3 Brakes
had a point ripped from their grasp in the dying moments of this contest with top of the table Farnborough, which was a bitter
pill to swallow after battling their way back from two goals down, mid-way through the second half. Debutant Yeovil Town loanee
Andre McCollin headed an 89th minute winner for the visitors to shatter our good recent run, and keep the Hampshire outfit
on course for automatic promotion to the Conference South. Read more...

Final scheduled for Sunday 21st February has been postponed due to the weather. Save |
Liam Reynolds has gone on short-term loan to Stratford
Town. Liam has been sufferring of late with some niggling injuries and Paul Holleran has agreed to the loan to enable Liam
to develop his match fitness. Goalkeeper Chris Kiely has agreed terms
on severance of his contract and has now left the club. Manager Paul Holleran stated, 'Chris approached the club several
weeks ago requesting to leave and after much thought I made the decision last week to grant him his wish. If a
player is not happy with his position then it is usually best for both player and club to reach agreement on a parting
of the ways.'
Kiely played a significant part in the Brakes Championship winning team last season when
he replaced the injured Richard Morris in goal for the last 10 weeks. Former manager Jason Cadden signed him as his No.1
choice for this first season in the Southern Premier League. Everyone from Leamington FC wishes Chris well for the future
and thanks him for his efforts for the team and club. |
